Dan Harmon Poops: HEY, DID I MISS ANYTHING? -

A few hours ago, I landed in Los Angeles, turned on my phone, and confirmed what you already know. Sony Pictures Television is replacing me as showrunner on Community, with two seasoned fellows that I’m sure are quite nice - actually, I have it on good authority they’re quite nice, because…

Thanks for those 3 seasons, Dan. You’re my hero. Go do something else that’s awesome that I can geek out all over, because I’m going to have a serious void in my life now. You made me realize that I wanted to do what you do. Now I realize that sometimes doing what you do sucks, but that’s life.

Hey folks, today Reid learned something: Sometimes life sucks.

“Alcohol lowers your inhibitors across the board.  The same magic that sometimes enables you to start crying about your Dad for no reason can also enable you, briefly, to admit that you hate what you’re trying to write and why you hate it, and what you would therefore love to write.  And if you can write down these epiphanies in the sweet spot between euphoria and blackout, ten percent of the time you’ll have a new approach to your current job.  Booze, however, is the Agent Orange in the war against writer’s block.  It’s graceless, it’s ungodly and it’s not just foliage you’re damaging.  There’s prices to pay.  Forever.” - Dan Harmon

Werewolves: A Post-Mortem

Well. We did it. We made something, something that never existed before and may never exist again. We set out to write an original musical and we did it. I don’t think it will ever set in for me, it will never feel real. And I hope it never does. I hope this forever remains unreal, because I fear that if it starts to feel real, then it will become just another experience and I may be in danger of forgetting it.

“This is really crazy. And inaccessible and maybe too dark.” —

Abed Nadir (from Contemporary Impressionists). Choice meta quote from this week’s Community. This show is just too brilliant to be real.

This arc that they’re setting up is going to be amazing.
